Manchester United have endured a testing start to this Premier League season and things could get worse before they get better for Erik ten Hag - according to a worrying Supercomputer prediction.
After finishing sixth in the standings last term, United appointed Ten Hag as their new manager before snapping-up Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez to start their much-needed rebuild. Further targets remain on the agenda including Netherlands star Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona.
However, whoever does follow Malacia, Eriksen and Martinez through the doors will have work to do to bolster a United team which sits bottom of the table on zero points. Brighton humbled them at Old Trafford on the opening day before Brentford humiliated Ten Hag and his players with a resounding 4-0 verdict on Saturday afternoon.

Of course, there is still a long, long way to go this campaign and additional summer recruits will help United in their quest for Champions League qualification. But where will they end up in May?
According to the FiveThirtyEight supercomputer, United are currently on course to finish eighth this season and with their lowest-ever points tally in the Premier League era (51 points). That would be two points lower than the 53 they accumulated under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick last term.
Data analysed by the same website suggests United have a 9 per cent chance of finishing in the top-four and, quite staggeringly, they are also seen to hold an 8 per cent likelihood at being relegated! As things stand, their slim hopes of pipping rivals Manchester City and Liverpool to the Premier League title come in at under 1 per cent.
