Linda Nolan has admitted she 'cries her eyes out' when thinking about how this Christmas could be her last, which is her fear, amid her incurable cancer battle. The singer and TV star shared in March this year that her cancer had spread to her brain and she had been undergoing radiotherapy.
Linda, who has sold more than 30 million records with her sisters in the hit band The Nolans, was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2005 but got the all-clear in 2006. In 2017, cancer returned in her hip and spread to her liver in 2020. She discovered the cancer had spread to her brain after suffering three ‘quite nasty falls’, as the disease was affecting her balance.
Now, the 64-year-old has shared a heartbreaking update on her battle with incurable cancer in an emotional new interview. Speaking to Woman magazine, she said: "When I wake up, I try to think it's another day to enjoy, not it's another day closer."

She went on to say: "Sometimes it's hard, but I never want cancer to win. Sometimes I slide down the wall and cry my eyes out because I'm having a bad day, but 99.9 per cent of the time I'm OK.
"[Christmas will be] extra special because I don't know if I'll see it next year. So definitely everything is more poignant. [My Christmas wish] is to be here. It's important now for me to make memories and to enjoy the time I've got left."
It comes after she said she’s "trying not to panic", but her memory "seems to be getting worse" as side effects of the cancer and treatment progress.
