Sarah Ferguson appeared on ITV's Lorraine this morning where she was quizzed on the Royal Family's festive plans and her response confused fans.
The Duchess of York, 64 joined the Scots presenter on her show to discuss her festive charity campaign, Big Give's Christmas Challenge, where chat turned to the festive season and families.
This comes as it was reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were left mortified as their invitation to spend Christmas with the Royal Family "had been withdrawn" before it was even sent out.
On the ITV show, Lorraine asked Fergie is the Royal Family will come together again. She said: "Christmas is coming up, now look, do you think one time the whole family, all of you, will be able to have Christmas together? Christmas brings people together, doesn't it? And that's what it should do!"
Sarah told her: "I couldn’t agree more. If we watch enough of these Christmas movies and sing enough of these Christmas songs... can we just all have love, forgiveness and happiness and joy?"
She added: "I feel strongly the greatest gift you can give today is understanding, no judgement, no race, creed, colour or any other domination, just love. There’s no better gift than love.
"People say to me, you don’t wear your heart on your sleeve, Fergie or Sarah, you wear it all over your body because that’s what I am. I really believe you can give love."
And many fans took to social media to talk about the interview with many talking about Fergie's response. One person said: "Cheap shot Lorraine, but fergie answered it well as if she was saying shut up Lorraine #Lorraine".
While one penned: "haha Fergies face!!!! She's not impressed! #lorraine"
Another said: "This is painful!!!! #lorraine."
