Kym Marsh 'has no words' as she's flooded with support after tribute to dad after death

Kym Marsh has said she has 'no words' as she shared a tribute to her dad following his death. The actress and presenter has been open and honest about her family's heartbreak following David Marsh's cancer diagnosis.
Kym and her family had spoken about her father’s prostate cancer on a number of occasions since she revealed he had been diagnosed in 2021, with Dave joining her on BBC show Morning Live to make others aware of the symptoms and the importance of getting checked out as soon as possible.
Then in November 2023, her parents appeared on the BBC One morning programme to provide an update with Kym, 47, saying they were living “day by day” at the moment as her father’s cancer had spread into his bones.

Sadly, on Friday (January 12), the Marsh family issued a statement confirming Dave's death, aged 78. "It is with immense sadness that we confirm the passing of David Marsh," a statement on behalf of the Marsh family said.
"A much loved husband, dad, grandad, great grandad and friend to many, David passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. We are truly heartbroken and ask for privacy at this incredibly difficult time."
On Sunday (January 14), Kym took to social media to speak out on her heartbreaking loss for the first time. She shared a sweet picture of herself and Dave and said: "For the first time in my life….I have no words." The former Coronation Street star added: "I love you dad. Always and forever. Rest easy Pops. Goodnight godbless."
