Kym Marsh has been flooded with support after sharing her heartbreak over a sad loss. The actress took to social media to share the news that she and her family had to say goodbye her pet beloved pet pooch, Barney.
Former Coronation Street star Kym, who is known for playing Michelle Connor in the ITV soap for 13 years, shared a picture of the adorable pet on Instagram as she updated her 605,000 followers on the gutting news.
Paying tribute to the sweet King Charles spaniel, Kym wrote alongside his photo: "Had to say goodbye to our beautiful boy Barney. We will miss you so much mate. Best dog ever. My heart is broken," before adding a broken heart emoji.

And it didn't take long for Kym's celebrity pals, followers and fans to quickly flood the comments section with messages of support and their condolences. Among the first to respond was Kym's daughter Emilie who wrote@ "I love you Barney." Kym's mum Pauline commented: "We’ll miss you so much Barney."
Morning Live co-star Dr James Greenwood wrote: "Sending you so much love darling, it’s the hardest and worst part." He continued: "You’re an amazing dog-mum and a true animal lover. something someone said to me - nothing loved is ever lost, their memory lives on forever in our hearts. Sleep well Barney boy, sending all my love."
