Kym Marsh has said she was left 'absolutely speechless' as she received a special gift in her dad's memory after being left devastated by his death. The actress and presenter's family issued a statement on January 12 confirming David Marsh's death, aged 78, after sharing his prostrate cancer journey.
David, known as Dave, made multiple appearances with his daughter and doting wife Pauline on Morning Live, on which she is a co-host, after he wanted to make others aware of the symptoms and to seek medical help following his prostrate cancer diagnosis in 2021.
In November 2023, her parents appeared on the BBC One morning programme to provide an update with Kym, 47, saying they were living "day by day" as her father’s cancer had spread into his bones.

Kym and her family then confirmed Dave's sad passing earlier this month. "It is with immense sadness that we confirm the passing of David Marsh," a statement on behalf of the Marsh family said. "A much loved husband, dad, grandad, great grandad and friend to many, David passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. We are truly heartbroken and ask for privacy at this incredibly difficult time," they added.
Kym has since expressed her heartbreak in a few social media posts and in her latest update, the Waterloo Road star shared how she'd been left bowled over by a gift she received which was a drawing of her dad.
Alongside a picture of the heartwarming portrait, Kym wrote on Instagram: "Well I am absolutely speechless!!! I woke up to a beautiful surprise from @artistweza. This is just
