Kyle Allen has landed the lead role in the upcoming Netflix movie Masters of the Universe, which is being produced by Mattel Films.
The 27-year-old actor will be playing the superhero He-Man in the live-action feature film.

THR reports that the “Masters of the Universe lore centers around an orphan named Adam, who discovers he is a prince destined to be the savior of a faraway land and must quickly learn of his power in order to save his home from the evil Skeletor.”
The Nee Brothers, who directed the upcoming Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum movie The Lost City, are directing the film. It’s set to begin production in summer 2022.
Noah Centineo was in talks to star in the movie when it was first announced back in March 2019. He exited the project back in April 2021.
Kyle most recently appeared in the West Side Story remake and his new film The In Between will premiere on Paramount+ on February 11.
