Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped out for date night to cheer on the Los Angeles Lakers Monday night amid King Charles III’s coronation plans. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were all smiles during the Lakers versus Memphis Grizzlies playoff game at Crypto.com Arena.  While Markle, 41, donned a two-piece pink blazer and matching shorts ensemble, Prince Harry, 38, sported a dark-colored jacket with a casual white t-shirt underneath, black jeans and white sneakers. In several of the sports snaps, Markle appeared to be whispering and giggling in Prince Harry’s ear.

Meghan Markle publicly showed face for the first time since announcing she would not be attending King Charles' coronation on May 6. Markle, 41, appeared via video to introduce her friend and photographer Misan Harriman ahead of his TED Talk.

Prince Harry has become "homesick" despite the ongoing and growing rift between the Royal family, as the Duke of Sussex reportedly made calls to his father seeking "reassurances" ahead of his trip back to the UK for the coronation next month.

Meghan Markle reportedly claimed King Charles III and the royal family were racist in a letter she wrote to her father-in-law.  Following Markle and Prince Harry’s 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duchess of Sussex penned Charles a letter with her concerns about "unconscious bias." In the documents, the mother of two shared that a senior royal was prejudiced toward Markle after "concerns and conversations" about the color of their unborn son’s skin were discussed, according to The Telegraph. The letters between Charles and Markle "acknowledged that the individual’s remark was not made with malice." The Prince of Wales at the time reportedly wrote back to Markle about feeling "let down" by his own son Harry and daughter-in-law.  Charles expressed "deep concern" and disappointment with the couple for the damaging allegations.

The late Queen Elizabeth II made Prince Harry feel "nervous" and "afraid", a royal expert has said, pointing out he used these very words in his bombshell memoir, Spare. It has previously been reported that Harry, 38 shared a close relationship with his grandmother, and even after he stepped down from his senior royal duties in 2020, it's thought he still managed to maintain a close bond with The Queen.

GB News host was speaking to royal biographer Tom Bower on the King's attempt to smooth over the relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. With the Coronation taking place next month, the monarch has decided to include a family portrait which features Harry and Meghan in the official Buckingham Palace souvenir programme. The photograph, which was taken back in 2018, shows Queen Camilla, Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three children all laughing together in the gardens of Clarence House.

They infamously stepped down as senior members of the British royal family in January 2020 and ever since, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship with the monarch has been strained. So, the question of whether King Charles wants Meghan at his coronation remains.

Prince Harry will reportedly skip the Coronation concert, instead opting to jet back to America just hours after the ceremony. The Duke of Sussex, 38, recently confirmed that he will be attending King Charles's Coronation, however, he has since told his father that he will not be staying in the UK for the weekend of festivities.

A royal author is claiming to know the reason King Charles stopped taking Prince Harry’s calls.

King Charles III visited familiar grounds on Friday, when he attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for its 200th Sovereign's Parade.The monarch took part in inspecting the nearly 200 cadets who were officially commissioned as Army Officers following an intense 44-week training. According to the British Army, Charles also presented the new colors for the academy, which «bore the new cypher of His Majesty the King.» Their titles, however, won't be official until «the stroke of midnight during their commissioning ball.»Charles also addressed the cadets when he gave a speech, in which he recalled with pride his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, both of whom graduated from Sandhurst in 2006.«And, speaking as a father of two alumni of this Academy who remembers their passing out parades, I know they will be full of immense pride in witnessing you on parade,» he said.Charles also recalled his own rigorous training some five decades ago.Prince William and Prince Harry smile at the passing-out Sovereign's Parade at Sandhurst Military Academy on April 12, 2006 in Sandhurst, England.«Having attended — and survived! -- two of the other Military Academies 50 years ago, I think I have some idea of the challenges which are inherent in military training,» he said.

King Charles spoke of his pride in his two sons as he observed military cadets completing their training, days after it was confirmed that Prince Harry will be at the Coronation next month. On Thursday, Charles attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for the 200th Sovereign’s Parade, to see the 171 cadets who have completed their training as army officers and will receive their commission at midnight.The visit came after Buckingham Palace confirmed earlier this week that Harry will attend the Coronation on 6 May.The Duke of Sussex will be flying over from the States alone though, as Meghan Markle remains in California with their two children.Thursday's event was Charles's first visit to the parade as King and saw his new colours blessed and presented.
