More star power is being added to the upcoming concert following the coronation of King Charles III.

When Camilla, Britain’s queen consort, is crowned alongside her husband next week, the moment will mark the culmination of a remarkable – and painstakingly slow – transformation over five decades of a figure once reviled as the other woman and considered a huge liability to the British monarchy.

Katy Perry is getting the royal treatment. The 38-year-old pop star revealed she's staying in Windsor Palace when she travels to the United Kingdom to perform for King Charles' coronation. "I’m really excited … I might be posting a lot because I’m gonna be in a castle, for real," Perry told Extra.

Universal Music’s Decca Records has announced plans to record and release King Charles III’s coronation as an album on the same day that it happens next month.This will be, the label notes, “the first time ever a recording of a coronation ceremony – a tradition which can be traced back more than 1000 years – will be available globally to stream and download on the day of the service itself”. Not least because there hasn’t been one of these events in the UK since 1953.Still, this is great news for anyone who wants to immediately relive the whole event in audio form after watching it on 6 May.
