Keanu Reeves is no longer attached to star in the upcoming Hulu series Devil in the White City.
The upcoming drama series is being produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese and THR reported that the show “has been in various stages of development for more than a decade.”

Hulu announced that Keanu would star in the series back in August, but now he has exited the project. No details about his departure are known as of this time.
Devil in the White City is based on the novel by Erik Larson. Variety reports that the series would revolve “around Daniel H. Burnham (Reeves‘ former role), a demanding but visionary architect who races to make his mark on history with the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair, and Dr. H. H. Holmes, America’s first modern serial killer and the man behind the notorious ‘Murder Castle’ built in the fair’s shadow.”
Leo is not expected to star in the series. A search for Keanu‘s replacement has already begun.
