Kate Middleton has arrived in Copenhagen, Denmark, where she will bring the work of The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood to the international stage.The Duchess arrived on Tuesday 22 February, and will be staying in the country’s capital for one night.This is Kate's second official visit to Denmark, having previously visited with husband William back in 2011. During her time in Denmark, the 40 year old royal will make an official visit to a Danish project working to protect vulnerable women and children from domestic violence.
Making her arrival at the Copenhagen Infant Mental Health Project at the University of Copenhagen, Kate stunned in a red statement tweed blazer, paired with a white shirt and black trousers. Kate's outfit choice appeared to be a nod to her host country, as red and white are the colours of the Denmark flag.
The 40 year old also wore her brunette tresses straight — different to her usual bouncy blow dry. Ahead of the visit, Kensington Palace explained that Kate will “spend time learning about how Denmark has created an enabling culture for early childhood development, specifically how it has promoted infant mental wellbeing alongside physical health, and how it harnesses the power of nature, relationships and playful learning in the first five years of life”.They added: “Her programme will focus on innovative initiatives and projects which support children in their growth, particularly their social and emotional development, as well as their parents and the wider communities surrounding them.” The Palace also said that Kate's trip will “pay tribute to the historic ties Britain shares with Denmark and will celebrate the joint Jubilees taking place in each country this year”.Tomorrow, Kate

The ambassador and his wife gave William and Kate a tour of the facility, where the royals met with members of the Ukrainian community in London and volunteers.Kate and William were photographed wearing lapel pins in Ukraine's flag colors, and they listened intently as volunteers walked them through their efforts and the challenges they face trying to get the material to those who need it most.
