Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma was full of praise for Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka after the FA Cup semi-final clash on Sunday.
Erik ten Hag's side won 7-6 on penalties after the match finished goalless after 120 minutes, with all seven penalty takers scoring for the Reds in the shootout. Victor Lindelof scored the winning spot-kick after Seagulls star Solly March saw his effort fly high over David de Gea's crossbar.
Wan-Bissaka was one of United's best performers at Wembley and impressed once again amid a productive second half of the campaign. He was able to keep Brighton ace Mitoma quiet in the tie, with the Japan international - who has registered 10 goals and seven assists this season - struggling to get the beating of the Reds right-back.

After the game, Mitoma praised Wan-Bissaka for his individual performance in the semi-final, suggesting the 25-year-old made it difficult for him throughout the game.
"He is a strong opponent, that is what I thought while playing," he told One Football. "I think it was a complete defeat."
He added: "I regret that I didn't score a goal, despite having a few chances to do so. It's difficult to score penalties, so I think I could have done something more before that.
"I haven't played against [Manchester United], but all their players are high of quality individually, so we had to be careful on counter-attacks. I think the match as a whole went well, but they had qualities at the end"
Wan-Bissaka, who has made 26 appearances for Ten Hag's side so far this season, is out of contract next year, but after impressing in recent months, he could have done enough to warrant a new deal.
