Viewers of the ITV General Election debate between Sir Keir Starmer and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak slammed the head to head as 'chaotic' and 'pointless' on Tuesday night (June 4).
The hour-long debate, broadcast on ITV, took place in front of a studio audience and was moderated by Julie Etchingham, who led the ITV election debates in 2015, 2017 and 2019.

But viewers were quick to air their thoughts on social media, with a number of people urging presenter Julie Etchingham to 'get a hold' of the pair who were 'interrupting' each other. One viewer even suggested switching to Love Island because it would 'make more sense'.
