Julie Gurian has been named partner at the entertainment law firm Del Shaw Moonves Tanaka Finkelstein Lezcano Bobb and Dang. Gurian was recently named one of Variety’s “Hollywood’s New Leaders of 2022” and works to represent production companies and individuals — negotiating and drafting agreements concerning all aspects of film and television production, including financing, development, production, clearance and distribution. Within the firm, Gurian has worked in the non-fiction and unscripted practice.
She has collaborated with various companies, including Ample Entertainment, Box to Box Films and Vox Media Studios, and has worked with Chrissy Teigen for her Cravings brand. Additionally, she works with Soledad O’Brien and her company, Soledad O’Brien Productions, which aims to amplify marginalized voices through character-driven film and television projects. “On behalf of the partners of Del Shaw, we’re excited to announce Julie Gurian’s promotion to our partnership.
