Manchester United will be targeting a fourth successive Premier League win when they face Luton Town at Kenilworth Road this afternoon.
United, who edged past Luton in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford back in November, winning 1-0, head into the contest eight points shy of the top four. Aston Villa leapfrogged Tottenham Hotspur in the table yesterday, moving into fourth place with a 2-1 win at Fulham.
The Reds, should they beat Luton, will move to within three points of Spurs, who were beaten by Wolves yesterday. United will be confident of maintaining their excellent run of form, having won each of their last four matches in all competitions.

Though the victory over Villa last weekend was of great significance, Luke Shaw's injury issue meant it wasn't all good news for the Reds. The left-back was substituted at half-time as a precaution and it remains to be seen if he will make the squad this afternoon.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Thursday, manager Erik ten Hag confirmed the England defender is a doubt, but he refused to rule him out completely at that stage. He will face a late fitness test.
