Joe McFadden claims he won’t be jealous if Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones wins this year’s competition.
The Scot picked up the Glitterball trophy with her in 2017.
It’s the only time she’s reached the final but this year she’s the bookies favourite to win with her partner Nigel Harman. And Joe, 47, is thrilled.
He said: “I won’t be jealous if they win. They are doing really well and she could pick up her second Glitterball.
“He’s amazing. Even from week one. It’s lovely to see her with a partner who will be able to make her brilliant steps look the way they are supposed to look.
“She’s a fantastic choreographer and he’s obviously got such danceability.

Holby City and Heartbeat star Joe is currently rehearsing for touring show Treason the Musical, about the gunpowder plot in which he plays James VI and I.
It opens in Edinburgh later in the month but Joe has been watching the new celeb hopefuls strut their stuff on Strictly including oldest ever contestant Angela Rippon.
He’s less impressed with viewers anger at some of the celebrities’ previous dance experience, including Nigel and Layton Williams, who have danced in West End roles, and Angela Scanlon, who was a member of the O’Shea Irish Dance Company.
Joe said: “The standard is really high.
“And on social media everyone is moaning about this one shouldn’t be there and that one shouldn’t be there.
“It’s the same conversations the whole nation has
