The Easter holidays are fast approaching and many families will be jetting off from Manchester Airport. But those flying with Jet2 have been warned of a big change to its Manchester services which comes into force next week ahead of the school break.
The airline usually operates from Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2, however, from March 20 some Jet2 flights will operate from Terminal 1 instead. This means holidaymakers should make sure they know which terminal they are departing from.
It comes as the airline expands its programme of flights from the northern travel hub, serving new destinations and providing additional services during peak travel periods. All Jet2 flights will operate from Terminal 2 up to and including March 19.

On its website the airline said: ”Up to and including 19 March 2024, our flights will operate from Terminal 2 (T2) at Manchester Airport. From 20 March 2024, our programme of flights at Manchester Airport is getting bigger and better! That means some of our flights will operate at Terminal 1 (T1), while others will continue to operate at Terminal 2 (T2).”
Jet2 added that customers should make sure that they have all of their travel extras, such as parking and lounge bookings, made for the correct terminal. They urged passengers to check with any companies they may have used to pre-book parking or airport lounges, or to contact Jet2Extras or the Manchester Airport Group if they have booked directly with them.
