Janey Godley opened up about living with her terminal cancer diagnosis and how she's taking steps to make things easier for her family.
The Scots comedian joined Lorraine Kelly on her ITV show this morning to talk about her new documentary, where chat turned to living with cancer.
The 63-year-old said that the documentary film is a 'love letter to Glasgow and a testimony to friendship'. She went on to explain that she has such a busy schedule at the moment that she actually sometimes forgets about her terminal diagnosis.
Speaking about other things she's been up to recently, Janey told Lorraine: "I've bought a car, paid for everything outright because I don't want them (her family) to be left with debt. So when you're facing these things you become good at financially trying to make everything secure cause the last thing you want - because when my dad passed away I had to do with all his stuff.
"So I'm getting rid of a lot of clothes and getting rid of a lot of old stuff - the charity shop loves me! I'm pairing everything down and getting everything ready so that when I do go it's not such a big trauma and I think this is something we should speak about."
Lorraine praised her fellow Scots star for the way she's handling things and how she's getting her life in order for her family's benefit.
