Bobby Brazier scored a triumphant win at the National Television Awards.
However, his celebrations have seemingly turned sour after his grandmother slammed his father, Jeff Brazier, following the star-studded event. A-listers flocked to London's O2 Arena on Tuesday night to celebrate the best of the small screen, and amid the crowds was 20-year-old Bobby reports the Mirror.
The actor appeared overwhelmed after scooping the Rising Star award for his work portraying Freddie Slater on long-running BBC soap EastEnders.
His dad, Jess was emotional as he watched his eldest son collect the coveted gong. However, despite the special occasion, Bobby's grandmother Jackiey Budden - who is the mother of the late Jade Goody who died in 2009 - was also at the event after buying herself a ticket to be in the audience.
Jackiey - who featured on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007 - is grandmother to both Bobby and Freddie, whom Jade welcomed during her two-year romance with Jeff. Although it seems the star is not a big fan of the father of her grandsons, Jeff.
According to reports, the one-time reality star slammed Jeff during a discussion with TV fans.
They claim Jackiey was overheard saying: “I’m so proud of him [Bobby]. He’s incredible. They didn’t know I was there. I didn’t allow them to know I was there. I didn’t want to see their dad. He’s a c**k. But I’m going to wait until they’re older before I let rip.”
Bobby praised his father whilst he accepted his award on Tuesday night, stating that the support from his father was the main factor in his success.
He said after being handed his award: “This actually has very, very, very little to do with me and everything to do with my Dad.
