ITV This Morning's Holly and Phillip startled as their news segment is suddenly interrupted
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were left startled on the lastest episode of This Morning when their news segment was suddenly interrupted.
The hosting duo were back on the popular ITV daytime show on Wednesday which again started later to allow for a brief ITV News bulletin.
Upon starting the show, Holly and Phil teased what was to come before kicking off with the programme's 'This Morning's View' segment.
Holly and Phil welcomed journalist Tom Swarbrick and Camilla Tominey to discuss the latest developments in Ukraine.

The group were discussing President Volodymyr Zelensky's emotional plea to the European parliament after Ukraine’s membership application as well as the differing options around TikTok videos of soldiers being made by those involved in the ongoing conflict with Russia.
But as Phillip went to ask Tom, who was appearing from his home via video link, what he thought of the social media clips, he struggled to get a word in edgeways.
That was because his dog, Isla, suddenly began to make a raspy, growling noise while they were live on air.
"Sorry that's the dog," Tom said with a nervous laugh as Phillip looked confused and Holly burst out laughing.
"We're all on heightened alert but god..." Phillip said, breathing a sigh of relief.
"What's wrong with the dog?" Holly asked as Tom desperately tried to manage his pet pooch.
"Isla come on," he said before telling the hosts: "It's the postman..."
"I'm beginning to feel quite sorry for the postman, actually" Phillip joked.
