Grace Dent has been spotted at the airport as she heads home after quitting I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
The food critic was snapped at Brisbane Airport just hours after her early exit from the jungle.
On the show over the weekend, the 50-year-old looked pale and was a shadow of herself, saying that she "just wants to go home".
Grace was selected to do the Bushtucker trial Down The Tubes but barely reacted and stayed mute the entire time hosts Ant and Dec were in camp.
ITV said in a statement: “Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds. She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike."
Now a source has told the Mirror: “She is heading back to London today. She is tired and she just wants to get home."
Grace looked downcast as she walked through departures with security guards by her side.
Grace had spoken about her fears over the lack of food before she entered camp. The star has a strong relationship with food given her successful culinary career, with the star being awarded Reviewer of the Year at the London Restaurant Festival in November 2017. She’s also food critic for The Guardian and has featured as a regular critic on MasterChef UK.
Speaking previously she said: “Everything is filling me with a real sense of dread, but I am especially dreading being really hungry because I tend to eat four or five posh meals out a week because I am a restaurant critic."
