Lorraine Kelly has been hit with hundreds of Ofcom complaints after she made a savage dig about Nigel Farage in I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.
More than 300 viewers contacted Ofcom over the Scots star's comments about the former UKIP leader on November 21.
Lorraine had been discussing an argument Farage had with First Dates star Fred Sirieix, who launched a verbal attack on the ex politician over Brexit and branded his campaign as "shameful".
Lorraine piled on to the discourse about Farage on her ITV show the following day, revealing she was in disbelief at his age and "traumatised" after seeing a shot of his bare backside.
She had been chatting to Edwina Currie about life in the celebrity jungle as Edwina spoke of why she thinks he went on to I’m A Celeb.
She said: “I think he’s in there because he thinks he can enhance his reputation.
“He’s seen as a responsible, intelligent and worthy person of some kind or other. He’s only, what 59? He’s got plenty ahead of him if he wants to get going again.”
Lorraine said: “Is he?! Is he only 59? I thought he was a hell of a lot older than that.
