Lorraine Kelly 'concerned' as Dynamo opens up on 'nightmare' year ahead of terrifying live stunt

Dynamo left Lorraine Kelly worried after revealing the details of his most dangerous stunt yet. The magician is burying himself alive tonight (Thursday December 14) as part of the Sky programme Dynamo Is Dead.
With no coffin to protect him, Dynamo will scramble to escape while live on TV. Exposed to the elements, it will be up to just Dynamo to make it out, which he said 'has never been done in the history of magic before.'
The 40-year-old told Lorraine on Thursday morning's show that a 'nightmare' few years prompted him to take on the challenge. Beaming in via videolink from a secret location, Dynamo spoke of how his nana - who was his reason behind getting into magic - had sadly died. "She was the magic behind the magic," an emotional Dynamo explained. "When she died, I just felt like the magic in me died as well."

"I didn't want to do magic anymore. But I started to feel like I need to keep her legacy alive and actually bring magic back. I figured that I needed to bury the part of me that died with her so I could start again. And I decided to bury myself alive."
He went on to explain that the stunt is 'the most dangerous thing' he's ever done and it 'encapsulates all the things I've ever felt.' Much like being buried alive, Dynamo said of his darkest times: "I felt like the weight of the world has been on me - it will be tonight. I feel like I’ve been in the dark."
