ITV Loose Women's Nadia Sawalha raced to hospital after noticing a concerning symptom right before she was due to go on air.
The 59-year-old appeared on the show's panel today but revealed that her last time on the programme had been far more dramatic as she was left "panic stricken" after something odd happened to her eye, just before she was going on the show.
Explaining what happened, Nadia said she was told by her optician to go straight to the hospital in a really "dramatic" couple of hours after the show's morning meeting.
Nadia has now received a diagnosis to explain what happened to her eye that day, the Mirror reports.
Speaking on the show today, she said: "I did the morning meeting, and rang the optician and said I've got this, this, this and they said leave now and go straight to A&E.
"It was really dramatic; I was really panic stricken actually because I thought I'd just go after the show. And then Gloria came in, because I was going to have to leave the show and there's never been three Loose Women.
"And then Gloria came on the phone, and she said she had an eye surgeon who is a good friend. Anyway, she put me on the phone with a top eye surgeon who asked me more questions.
"He said it was ok, you can do the show, but then you've got to come to A&E straight afterwards."
Nadia decided to stay and do the show but headed straight to the hospital after to check everything was okay.
She has now found out what was wrong, explaining: "The long and short of it is, I've got an ageing eye. They're both ageing, the jelly's coming off the back.
"I've got a microscopic haemorrhage. I know it's microscopic but I don't want a haemorrhage."
The Loose Women panellist admitted she was worried about it but insists she is under good
