ITV bosses had no choice but to air an old episode of Loose Women after This Morning was pulled off air and replaced with a pre-recorded segment amid a "security alert". Viewers of the popular programme were left confused on 10 March when This Morning, hosted by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, was cut and an emergency tape about tree hugging played instead of its Guess The Gadget quiz.
Once it had come to an end, instead of the usual Loose Women, where Charlene White was set to present, an old episode featuring Coleen Nolan, Ruth Langsford, Janet Street-Porter, Nadia Sawalha and Brenda Edwards began playing. Both of the official Twitter pages for Loose Women and This Morning have since shared an identical statement on the interrupted shows.

We are currently running pre-recorded content and hope to be back with you soon." It is thought the interruption was due to a "security alert" at White City and Wood Lane, near to where the ITV studio is located.
Transport for London tweeted: "White City and Wood Lane stations closed: While the police respond to a security alert outside the station." According to MyLondon, Metropolitan police were seen at the stations and there is now no service between Marble Arch and North Acton on the Central Line. It's also believed that ITV staff were evacuated from the building.
MyLondon later reported that The Met Police confirmed they were called to the scene in Wood Green following reports that a "suspicious item" had been found. Become an OK! VIP and see all our exclusives - for free! Become an OK! VIP and you
