In the sweet message, Lila said: “Happy birthday, Nanny! Hope you had a great day, love you loads, Lila and Betsy.” Younger sibling Betsy then sweetly chimed in, saying a quiet: “Love you.” Linda, who is affectionately known as ‘Nanny Linda’, looked over the moon when she spotted her granddaughters, and then quickly began to cry.
As Ruth told fans of the show that Linda had “gone” and was wiping her tears, Linda explained it was because she was missing Lila. Drying her eyes, she said: “She’s gone on her school journey today, so I won’t see her for a week.” This comes after Linda, best known for her role in Birds of a Feather, shared an update with her Instagram followers of how she’d celebrated her big day.
