Emmerdale's nasty character Tom King is set to lose his temper in a shocking episode next week on the ITV soap, as he discovers Belle Dingle has been lying.
Tom has been secretly controlling his wife for some time now, and Belle hasn't fully realised what's happening. She's started to question his actions, like when he insulted her family, interfered with her job, and even broke an ornament holding her late mum's ashes.
However, every time she confronts him, Belle ends up saying sorry and asking for forgiveness because Tom manipulates her into thinking she's the one at fault. Pretending to be scared around her, Tom's scheme to isolate and control Belle seems to be working as he keeps up his horrible comments and actions.
Recently, viewers saw him messing with her business plans and even ruining a deal Belle had with Suzy Merton and Leyla Harding. He's trying to prevent her from gaining any independence, particularly in her career, and this behaviour is set to continue.
In the upcoming episodes, it's revealed that Tom starts tracking Belle through an app he installs on her phone. He can see where she is all the time, which leads to him catching her out in a lie, reports the Mirror.
Belle seems to want some time away from her husband, as she's seen pretending to be at work when she's actually at a party at The Hide in next week's episodes. Belle tells Tom she'll be late from work, so he's really angry when he sees she's not where she said she'd be.
Feeling guilty, Belle lies that she's still at work, but she's actually somewhere else. When Tom calls her to find out where she is, she pretends to be somewhere she's not.
