The full list of nominees for this year’s National Television Awards has been announced, with the Line of Duty cast, Piers Morgan, Holly Willoughby and more competing for the top British TV accolades. Nominations for this year’s National Television Awards (NTA), celebrating the best annual performances from British TV shows and actors, have been revealed.

It swept the boards at many ceremonies over the past year, so it’s no surprise that Normal People has been nominated for an award at the NTAs in the UK.

Martin Compston has thanked his fans after BBC drama Line of Duty was nominated for a National Television award. Compston and co-stars Adrian Dunbar and Vicky McClure are all up for Drama Performance awards for their parts in the show.

Line of Duty will compete against each other in the top acting category at the 2021 National Television Awards. Jed Mercurio’s police drama is up for four awards, including Returning Drama, while its three stars Adrian Dunbar, Martin Compston and Vicky McClure are all nominated in the Drama Performance category.
