Five years after his wife Tanya tragically died from cancer at the age of 53, Vinnie Jones has opened up about finding love again.
The pair were together for 27 years and they shared two children, Kaley, 37, and Aaron, 33, with the Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels star explaining that no matter how much time passes, “the grief is always going to be in there”. In a new interview with the Mirror, former footballer Vinnie has opened up about finding love following Tanya’s passing, with the actor striking up a romance with personal assistant Emma Ford.
“Moving forwards, we meet other people that we are fond of and we fall in love with and vice versa,” he told the publication. Vinnie’s new partner Emma is a former model who appeared on the channel Men and Motors and had her own show called Emma's A-Z Of American Sex.
In 2003, she was also a team captain on the gameshow A Question of Sex. Emma has also previously appeared as a model in a magazine advert for the fashion brand Urban Stone.
Elsewhere, Emma has worked as a personal assistant for The Clash member Mick Jones.
TV fans may also be familiar with Emma from Vinnie’s discovery+ show Vinnie Jones In The Country where she often appears. “Maybe she’s calmed me down a little bit,” Vinne told GQ in March 2024.
“Maybe she brings a different perspective to it all for me.” Throughout his time in the limelight, Vinnie has had quite a varied career, having initially started off on the football pitch in the 80s and 90s where he played for teams including Sheffield United, Chelsea, and Queens Park Rangers.
