Since first arriving on the familiar streets of Albert Square back in June, EastEnders newcomer Francesca Henry has quickly become a firm fan favourite for her portrayal as Gina Knight, the daughter of Cindy Beale and George Knight. Charming viewers at home with her stunning good looks and sassy personality, Gina has rapidly become on the must-watch characters in the soap, with Francesca herself even hinting that a potential romance may soon be unfolding on screen for her Walford alter ego.
Yet while Gina’s life has been upended by tragedy following Cindy’s decision to walk out of her life prior to arriving on the soap, thankfully actress Francesca has enjoyed a far more relaxed and happy upbringing. Here’s everything we know about her life off screen so far… Early Life Born in Waltham Forest back in March 1995, Francesca Eloise Henry has always been a London girl at heart, having been born and raised in the capital for much of her life.
She attended the Forest School in Walthamstow, a private day school that caters for children from the ages of 4 - 18 years of age, meaning all of her compulsory education was conducted at the same school. It was while studying here that she first fell in love with performing and discovered a keen talent for acting.
After finishing her exams at the Forest School, Francesca later swapped one capital city for the other when she attended university at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, which is located in Cardiff back in 2017. After two years of rigorous study, she finally graduated with an MA in Acting and swiftly began to make her presence known on screen with a number of memorable roles.
