Manchester City booked their spot in the FA Cup fifth round with a hard-fought win against Tottenham on Friday night. Nathan Ake scored the winner to gun down the north Londoners.
It was a typically high-octane 90 minutes between two big hitters from the Premier League. However, there were not too many clear-cut chances at either end before Ake struck from a set-piece.

Oscar Bobb was chosen to start the game and, despite what Pep Guardiola said in his pre-match interview, it was reward for the Norway youngster amid his continued development. With that line-up decision, City opted to leave Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku - who cost the club around £150million combined - on the substitutes bench and it comes as a real milestone for Bobb's career in such an important game. Had his boots been a size smaller, he might well have opened the scoring for City in the seventh minute. If Bobb, though, had not followed up Phil Foden's parried shot, the ball looks like it might have crossed the line before Vicario got back, meaning the goal would have stood and taken things out of VAR's much-maligned hands.
