Rasmus Hojlund hopes to hit the ground running at Manchester United but admits it will take time for him to adapt to new surroundings.
The 20-year-old could make his debut later this afternoon when United face Arsenal at the Emirates. It's been almost a month since he was paraded around Old Trafford as the club's new striker, following the agreement of a £72million fee with Atalanta.
A stress fracture in the back, flagged during medical tests, has kept Hojlund out since, but Erik ten Hag admitted that after a full week of training, he has travelled with the squad to north London. He was also handed the No.11 shirt on Sunday morning.
There is already a weight of expectation on Hojlund's shoulders, being the summer's most expensive signing in the area United badly needed to improve. The Danish international hopes he can make an instant impact on that front, but insists effort will never be a problem regardless.

"What you can expect from me is hard work and a guy who really wants to perform and help the team," Hojlund told Sky Sports. "I want to die for this logo.
"It's a good combination to perform but you never know. It's a new beginning and I hope I can hit the ground running but let's see.
"It's a new league, you have to focus on all the things around the pitch - new teammates, new environment. Maybe it'll take a little bit of time but I know I'm going to get there."
Despite only turning 20 in February, Hojlund has had plenty of experience adapting to new leagues and teams. The striker left FC Copenhagen in his home country last January, moving to Austrian Bundesliga side Sturm Graz the following summer before Atalanta in Italy a year
