The Traitors star Meryl Williams has revealed how she spent her prize money after winning the hit BBC show, which aired in December. Alongside her Faithful co-stars Hannah Byczkowski and Aaron Evans, Meryl banished Traitors Wilfred Webster and Kieran Tompsett to scoop the £99,000 prize money. Split between them, they each took home a whopping £33,000.
Now, 27 year old Meryl, who was born in South Africa but lives outside Edinburgh, has revealed how she spent her cash prize. Speaking to OK!, she said: "I quit my job back in December. I was working at H&M customer service.
I've always had call centre jobs. I've kind of done everything -I even sold solar panels. I feel like I've done them all." Meryl, who has achondroplasia, which causes dwarfism, revealed her dream job, saying: I've always wanted to go into TV.
I'd love to be a TV presenter.
The dream is a talk show, but I always feel cringe saying it. "Now I just do social media full time. But I'd like to go back into TV, but it's just so competitive - it's scary." Meryl, who has amassed an incredible 147,000 followers on TikTok, was also able to finish some renovation work in her house, as well as add two new furry friends to her family.
She said: "I paid off things, my mum and I went on holiday, I bought two dogs. "I bought my house back in 2021 so I did some home renovations I could never afford to do before the show, so I've managed to get decking, flooring and finish some other home improvements. "I've still got obviously a little stash of money as well because I need to be able to like, survive.
