The former supermodel, 68, is understood to have tripped over a cable in the dark - and had to be rushed to hospital for emergency care. It's understood she had to withdraw from the programme to focus on her recovery.
Janice, from Brooklyn, New York, is said to have been searching for one of the camp's open-air toilets, around 100ft from where the nine contestants sleep, when she fell. Her camp mates heard her fall a rushed to her aid, before a first aider was called - but her injuries were so severe that she needed urgent medical care. A source told The Sun: "It was terrifying.
Everyone was woken by a sickening thud. A few of the campmates ran towards the noise and found Janice face down. She seemed to be semi-conscious on the ground.
