'I asked a Marks and Spencer employee to find me the perfect winter outfit - one £49 dress blew me away'

After months of work to transform the massive former Debenhams unit in the Trafford Centre, Marks and Spencer has finally unveiled its new megastore to the public. Having moved from Peel Avenue to Regent Crescent in the shopping mall, the new site sprawls over two floors covering a massive 135,000 sq ft of commercial space.
The stylish new store features a new layout across its clothing, home and beauty departments. Shoppers can get outfit inspiration from Marks and Spencer's new displays, like the ones that you'd see inside shops such as Zara and Mango.
I was lucky enough to be invited by Marks and Spencer to tour the new shop, as well as browse all of the Christmas offerings ahead of the December festive rush. Having shopped at the old store just a few weeks ago, the new location is such an improvement. The old store felt slightly dated and squished in, and the lighting was far from helpful when trying to browse the racks.

But the new shop is the complete opposite. The new store is open and airy, with a smart layout that invites you to shop. Despite the shop being packed with customers wanting to get the first look around on opening day, the size of the store meant that it wasn't claustrophobic.
One of the best things about the new shop, other than the brand new 130-seat café that smelled delicious, is that the clothes have been separated into easy to navigate sections. So, you are not spending ages trying to find knit or denim among
