Police ask for help as McLaren supercar worth hundreds of thousands sets on fire after smashing into house

Police are asking for help after a supercar worth hundreds of thousands of pounds collided with a lamppost and house - after which the car and home were left ablaze.
Emergency services were called to Heyhouses Lane in Lytham St Annes at 2.35am today (December 23) following reports that a McLaren car collided with a lamppost and then a house.
Both the car and the house caught fire, Lancashire Police has confirmed. Two men who were in the car suffered a number of serious injuries and were taken to hospital, where they remain.
One man is in a critical but stable condition and the second in a serious but stable condition. No one in the house was injured.

"We are appealing for witnesses and footage after two men were left seriously injured following a collision in St Annes," said Lancashire Police.
"Emergency services were called to Heyhouses Lane at 2.35am today (23rd of December) following reports a McLaren car had collided with a lamppost and then a house. Both the car and the house caught fire.
"They were quickly extinguished by our colleagues from the fire service.
!The two male occupants of the car suffered a number of serious injuries and were taken to hospital, where they remain. One is in a critical but stable condition and the second in a serious but stable condition.
"Nobody in the house was injured."
McLaren supercars start in the mid-£100,00 range and can rise to be worth millions.
