Film fanatics can soon visit the cinema for free thanks to an exciting new scheme. Escapes, supported by the British Film Institute and National Lottery funding, gives people the chance to attend screenings at independent cinemas - all for zero cost.
15,000 tickets will available in 126 cinemas across the country when the Escapes kicks off in February. Exclusive previews of award-winning sports drama The Iron Claw marks the start of the scheme on Monday February 5.
The film, starring Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White and Harris Dickinson, officially releases in the UK on Friday February 9. The Iron Claw tells the true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers who make history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s.

Tickets are free and all you need to do to attend is sign up via the Escapes website here. The Light Bolton and Reel Rochdale are the venues included in Greater Manchester. See a full list of UK locations taking part in Escapes below.
A new film will be previewed each month, meaning you can escape to the cinema for the rest of the year. You can also vote for which film you'd like to see next via the website here. The current shortlist includes Poor Things, Gassed Up, Jackdaw and Polite Society. Scrapper, The End We Start From and The Zone of Interest and Wicked Little Letters.
In a bid to make the cinema experience more accessible, all Escapes screenings of The Iron Claw will be presented with descriptive subtitles on screen.
