Sharon Osbourne is back on our screens after entering the Celebrity Big Brother house this week, and is already providing plenty of entertainment. However, she isn't here to stay, and will only be in the house for five days as the show's 'lodger'. And now, the former X Factor judge, 71, has shared the reason she isn't staying for the full show, which runs for 19 days, explaining that it would be too tough to leave her husband Ozzy, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, and the rest of their family.
“I don’t want to stay away from Ozzy for too long. We’re so close as a family. I don’t think I have ever gone a week without talking to any of them, ever," admitted Sharon.
She continued: "Through fights, feuds, everything. We still talk and this will definitely be the longest," before adding that she doesn't know how she will 'cope' with the distance. Rocker Ozzy first revealed his Parkinson's diagnosis in 2020, with Sharon explaining at the time: “There’s so many different types of Parkinson’s; it’s not a death sentence by any stretch of the imagination, but it does affect certain nerves in your body.
And it’s—it’s like you have a good day, and then a really bad day." The pair have been married for over 40 years, tying the knot in 1982. And as Sharon headed into the CBB house, her entrance was made even more iconic, as she was reunited with her former X Factor co-star and old friend Louis Walsh in the house - with the latter in the house as a permanent housemate. Sharon is said to be earning a whopping £100,000 for her short stint on the show.
