Sharon Osbourne has left the Celebrity Big Brother house after eight days and had an emotional reunion with her daughter Kelly. Sharon, 71, who was referred to as “celebrity lodger” while on the show and had her own private bedroom, was announced as leaving on Tuesday’s episode – despite not being up for public vote. After leaving the house to cheers, Sharon spoke to hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, before Kelly was seen running onto the stage to hug her mum in a sweet moment.
Sharon had revealed how much she was missing her family just hours before her exit as she said: "We're a tight unit. When you're away from people, you know the feelings when they're not with you... You know, at night, I can't smell my husband [Ozzy], I can't hug him.
I miss him." She left the famous house on Tuesday night, after her housemate Lauren Simon, 51, was evicted in the second public vote.
The Real Housewives Of Cheshire star Lauren became the second contestant evicted from ITV’s Celebrity Big Brother following a public vote. Kate Middleton's uncle Gary Goldsmith was the first star evicted. Along with Lauren, Fern Britton and Louis Walsh also faced the public vote.
On Monday night, former X Factor judge Sharon was given the power to save one of the nominated housemates, choosing YouTuber Zeze Millz, and instead opted to nominate former This Morning presenter Fern in her place. During the live eviction, the audience was heard booing and chanting: “Get Louis out.” In Tuesday night's episode, Louis made reference to him managing Jedward along with Fern’s age. When asked what Jedward were like, he said: “They were vile… I done five million quid with them, I swear on my mother’s life.
