Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, 40, have arrived in the Netherlands ahead of the Invictus Games starting tomorrow, Saturday 16 April. The couple were seen at a reception in The Hague on 15 April afternoon, which is their first time in Europe since their exit from the Royal Family back in 2020. Harry donned a navy suit with a white shirt for the occasion, which he paired with some smart shoes as he walked the yellow carpet. But Meghan stole the show as she wore a full white suit for the occasion, complete with matching high heels and a clutch.
Styling her brunette mane down, the former Suits star teamed the look with a gold jewellery, including a pendant necklace, watch and a hand bracelet. Prior to their arrival on the yellow carpet, the couple met with the Ukrainian Invictus team. Ukrainian Oleg Karpenko shared a tweet about meeting the royal as they said: "You just look who is here with us the Prince himself with a calendar.
"The Invictus Games Ukraine team will soon start winning its medals at these competitions. Proud." It’s believed that the trip is the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first joint venture to this side of the Atlantic since relocating to the US in 2020. With this in mind, the royal pair paid a “secret visit” to the Queen in London while they were in Europe.
A spokesperson for the couple confirmed to OK! that they visited the Queen ahead of their appearance at the Invictus Games, and are thought to have also met Harry's father, Prince Charles.
