Warmer weather is set to return for the Bank Holiday weekend after an unsettled start to April in Greater Manchester. According to the Met Office, we can expect temperatures to rise in the coming days.
On Tuesday there will be showers throughout the morning, with these easing into the afternoon. Temperatures will reach a high of 14C by mid afternoon.
Forecasters predict that the rest of the week will remain dry, with temperatures slowly creeping up as we approach the weekend. Wednesday will be dry but cloudy, with the mercury expected to reach 15C in the afternoon.

The Met Office predicts that there will be a foggy start to the day on Thursday. By the afternoon temperatures are set to reach 17C, although it will remain cloudy.
On Good Friday we can expect similar temperatures and there even be a break in the clouds towards the end of the afternoon. Highs of 18C are forecast on Saturday, with sunny intervals predicted throughout the day.
Sunday is set to be cloudy and mild, reaching 17C, with sunny intervals predicted by the early evening. Bank Holiday Monday is expected to see similar conditions, with sunny intervals in the morning but a cloudy afternoon.
Across the UK the Met Office predicts a split in the weather between the north west and the south at the start of the week, with more unsettled weather in the north while the south will experience temperatures in the ‘low 20s’.
