Greater Manchester weather forecast as temperatures drop on Easter Monday

Following a warm spell over the weekend temperatures are set to drop on Easter Monday in Manchester. It should remain dry over the course of the day, although it will be cloudy overhead.
Mancunians enjoyed glorious weather on Easter Sunday (April 17), with temperatures reaching around 20C across the city region. But this warm weather is set to end with cooler temperatures forecast for the week ahead.
A high of 14C is forecast for Manchester on Monday afternoon (April 18), in a return to average temperatures for this time of year. It will be cloudy and cool at the start to the day, with a small chance of precipitation, according to the Met Office.

Forecasters said that this will change to “sunny intervals by early evening”, bringing the bank holiday to a pleasant end. Sun should break through the clouds at around midday, when temperatures are expected to reach 13C, rising to 14C at 2pm.
The afternoon will be cloudy, with sunny spells expected at 6pm. Temperatures will drop to 12C by 6pm, later falling to 10C by 10pm.
The cool weather will continue into Tuesday (April 19), although it will still remain dry. A high of 13C is forecast for Tuesday. Sunny intervals are expected on Wednesday.
Forecasting for the region, the Met Office said that the weather will be cool and cloudy towards the end of the week. It said: “Wednesday will be dry and bright with gentle winds. It will turn cloudier during Thursday and Friday with the odd spot of rain, and a cool easterly wind will develop.”
