Almost everybody would come in two, three hours late. They had to bring us all in and give us a lecture." She has long been a performer, whether it was beauty pageants or acting. Before landing a role on Grease, Susan was part of a number of beauty pageants, even becoming Miss Washington in 1971, and going on to become a top ten finalist in the Miss America pageant the following year. Following the success of Grease, Susan went on to do other roles in The Brady Bunch Hour (1976) and the scary film Deadly Blessing (1981).
