They also recalled how the boyband were unable to rehearse with all seven members until a day before the ceremony.“There were times when we were worried they weren’t gonna be able to be here,” Winston revealed.

Grammys have revealed the third slate of performers for its Las Vegas ceremony on 3 April. This year’s 64th annual show, hosted by Trevor Noah, has tapped Silk Sonic duo – Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak – to open the ceremony, followed by newly added artists including Carrie Underwood, John Legend, and J Balvin with Maria Becerra. Maverick City Music, Aymée Nuviola, and Billy Strings will perform in special segments “that showcase Las Vegas and spotlight genres not historically represented on the Grammy Awards telecast”.

Silk Sonic is kicking off music’s big night!

Silk Sonic opened the Grammys 2022 tonight (April 3) with a performance of their track ‘777’.The duo, comprised of Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars, are nominated for four awards at the awards show this year and have already won two at the premiere ceremony.Silk Sonic were given trophies for Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song, both for ‘Leave The Door Open’ at the earlier event. Later, they will be in the running for Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year for the same track.For their performance, the pair were joined by an extensive backing band, while Mars played guitar and .Paak played drums.
