A Glasgow man has become the only DJ ever to perform at the infamous HMP Barlinnie.
Calvin Logue was installing phones in the jail earlier this year when word spread that he was also a DJ. A prison guard then invited him to play a set for inmates on March 17, reports Glasgow Live.
Barlinnie is the largest prison in Scotland and is located in the residential area of Riddrie in the city. The Lockerbie bomber Abdelbaset al-Megrahi and serial killer Peter Manuel are among the infamous names who were held there.
Calvin said: "I was working with a company on a contract installing phones and the word got about that I was a DJ.
"A guard asked if I'd like to play in there I said yes. It went really well some prisoners standing some sitting though everyone stood up at the end and cheered and clapped which was good.
"This is the maddest gig I've ever done, it was intense but I would do it again."
After posting the throwback post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Calvin received 44 reposts and 768 likes.
