Gemma Atkinson supported over upsetting family loss as she shares more personal news

Gemma Atkinson has been supported by her celebrity pals, fans and followers as she shared news of a heartbreaking family loss. This Hits Radio host took to social media to share that she spent her day saying an emotional farewell to her Aunt, who was named Shelia.
She shared a video of her Aunt with daughter Mia, now four, as a baby as well as a picture of her planting a kiss on Mia's cheek more recently while the toddler beamed for the camera. "Today we said goodbye to Auntie Shelia. The kindest most caring lady and eldest relative we have," Gemma shared alongside the post.
Gemma, who welcomed her second child into the world in July, continued: "The matriarch of our family. After almost 93 years her body became tired. Now at peace and reunited with Uncle Peter and many more relatives, I’m sure they’ll be having a celebration together just as we did today at her send off. As sad as funerals are, it’s always lovely having the family together having a good laugh and a good buffet!

"Thanks for teaching our family to always stay positive. I’m convinced that’s why you lived so happy for so long, because regardless of the situation you always looked on the bright side." She then rounded off her post by writing: "Sleep well…I’ll miss your pound coins sellotaped in my Birthday card this year, but I know you’ll check in on everyone now & again."
