Gary Neville has likened in-demand Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland to Manchester United icon Eric Cantona.
The Norwegian forward has quickly become one of the most feared attackers in Europe with an incredible goal rate at Dortmund, and at RB Salzburg before that. It means he has drummed up transfer interest from a host of the world's elite, including United.
Cantona was instrumental to United's success in the 90s and brought swagger, as well as flair in an abundance, to Old Trafford. The iconic Frenchman strolled his way to four Premier League triumphs and three FA Cup winners' medals under Air Alex Ferguson.

The Manchester Evening News understands that United have enquired about Lyon attacker Moussa Dembele ahead of a possible summer move, as they are looking to revitalise their attack — though they retain Haaland interest.
"I like Haaland's personality," Neville revealed speaking to Sky Sports. "I like that fact he doesn't care what anyone thinks. He's got a bit of Eric Cantona in him, he's the modern-day version if you like.
"People call it arrogant, I get that, but he has the ability to back it up. You can't teach that. Football needs people like him, it needs personality. We want players with something about them. For every angel, we want a Haaland, a young personality who doesn't do things perfectly.
"We want professional, well-behaved people, but we also want personality and character and people who are willing to go against the norm, that is what Haaland does."
