They were joined by family and friends and enjoyed a sponsored walk around the Gartocharn Loop and a family picnic afterwards.
Everyone wore yellow or dressed in a ‘Bee’ theme to reflect the Beatson Bee mascot and add fun and cheer to the day.
So far, the Gartocharn Beatson Bee Bonanza Day has raised over £7000 for the charity.
Anne McKerry, head teacher of Gartocharn Primary School and Early Learning and Childcare Centre, said: ”We all had a wonderful day walking in the sunshine and enjoying the company of each other. It was a special day, full of cheer and love.
“We hope that the money raised will impact positively on families affected by cancer. We would like to thank every member of our community who supported this event and for their very generous donations.”
Seonaidh McGuire, Community Engagement Fundraiser at Beatson Cancer Charity, said: “We are delighted to have the support from Gartocharn Primary School and grateful for their incredible fundraising.
