Flume enlists Toro y Moi for new song, ‘The Difference’

Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever have announced their new album Sideways to New Italy. The Melbourne band’s new one is out June 5 via Sub Pop. They’ve released a video for their new song “She’s There.” Watch the Nick Mckk-directed visual below.

Nick Hakim has announced a new studio album, WILL THIS MAKE ME GOOD. It’s out May 15 via ATO. Hakim has also shared the new song “QADIR.” Watch its music video, directed by Nelson Nance, below.

Thomas Rhett is celebrating his 30th birthday with a poignant new song called “Be a Light.” The emotive ballad was written in 2019 and features Reba McEntire, Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott, Chris Tomlin and Keith Urban.

Inventions—the duo of Matthew Robert Cooper (aka Eluvium) and Explosions in the Sky’s Mark T. Smith—have announced their next album. Continuous Portrait arrives digitally May 29 via Temporary Residence Ltd. Flume is back Wednesday (March 11) with "The Difference," a collaboration with Toro Y Moi. The song is an effervescent drum and bass-inspired cut with a video that finds Toro Y Moi in deep concentration while Flume sprints through downtown Los Angeles in a red track suit, their worlds connected by the psychedelic visuals of both scenes.
