Tributes have been paid to a 'beautiful angel' who was found dead in an Edinburgh flat.
Dawn Trusler, 45, was discovered within a property on Stenhouse Gardens North in the capital at around 9.30am on Monday, February 21.
Police revealed earlier this evening that they had charged a 37-year-old man in connection with Dawn's death.
Her passing has left her friends and family totally heartbroken.
Following the devastating news tributes have flooded in for the Edinburgh mum, who has been described as a 'loyal friend' who 'will be sadly missed'.
Victoria Lamb led the tributes on Facebook. She said: “RIP beautiful angel, taken from us so soon. Thinking of family at this time.
“Can’t believe this has happened to a beautiful woman. So kind and a loyal friend – I’m in shock.”
Victoria Mclauchlan said: “My heart goes out to all of her beautiful children and the rest of the family are all in my prayers.”
Chloe Botley said: “Wow this is so sad. Rest in piece Dawn Trusler. What a horrible world we live in.”
Nikki Leith said: “RIP beautiful. GBNF!”
Heather Steele said: “RIP Dawn. Sleep tight hunni GBNF.”
Skye Stewart said: “Far too close to home!! Fly high angel. Will be sadly missed. You were one in a million.”
Police say the 37-year-old man who has been charged is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday, February 23.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police Scotland can confirm that a 37-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of a 45-year-old woman in Edinburgh.
"Dawn Trusler’s body was found around 9.30am on Monday, 21 February, 2022 after officers were called to a property on Stenhouse Gardens North.
"The man is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 23 February, 2022."
